Hey guys, long time no see- as you all know I still don't have a computer.
Well, I'll get to the point of things:
I'm doing okay, life is moving on slowly, not much is happening...
That is, of course, if you don't count the fact that

and I met
Danny John Jules the Saturday before last.
He was a pretty awesome guy, we talked about various bands and music, laughed a little about morrissey, and took photos. ~
MetaSilver got his autograph as well as a photo. (I didn't in the end- I was happy with a photo-besides, the autograph was £15 and I'm still saving up money.)
Speaking of money, I recently brought a motherboard, cpu, and some ram for my new PC. I'll be back online in no time! Plus on the faster connection status, I'm being given a pc to use in the meantime (if it ever comes through!)
Hope to hear from you all soon!

My features this week are for those who I believe need/deserve more attention than they have. Bare in mind I'm only doing this for people who don't have much at all, so no whining from anyone. The deviation above is by ~
C5005-Audio. It kind of stands out amongst my recent favourites.
More features below.

This is a closeup of a rose, taken by ~
davidjRayG, a budding photographer who upon first glass would look to be just starting out
however, his gallery is full of many new ideas and brief gems that stand out. Personally I think he highly deserves more watchers!

This is "Who Cares?" by ~
ah-man-duh. I've been saying she deserves a lot more attention for her literary works for some time now, but people have been kind of against listening to me about it...Maybe one of my newer watchers will take a gander and get lost in one of her short stories.

This is "Operation Devastation"! This (in my opinion) brilliant example of an expressive song. Hopefully a little extra attention will give her an incentive to start writing more between studying!

Looking forward to it!
By the way, I've installed Linux Ubuntu to dual-boot alongside Windows... It's frickin' awesome xD of course, I still have to go to Windows to play Oblivion and such, but in a way it's good, because it makes me do slightly more productive things, like write, and post on forums :3
Anyways, can't wait to speak to you once you recover the internets.

At the beginning of Halo 1, I hated Cortana. I guess the Halo 1 engine wasn't quite perfect, because she seemed to hold off when it came to telling me what to do next, often leaving me hanging for ages before pointing me in the right direction- but after I lost her for a while, I started to miss her, and became rather glad to get her back. I guess slaughtering people alone in silence doesn't always beat slaughtering people with an AI voiceover.
I loved the arbiter (sounded more like arbitor, but whatever) in halo 2. as well as getting to use the energy blade. In halo 1 one of my main fears stemmed from the shielded energy blade soldiers slicing me whilst I wasn't looking, but in halo 2 the tables kind of turned.
Driving a tank was pretty awesome, I love the fact that you could run vehicles over.
Halo 2 was remarkably well designed compared to Halo 1, in which the gameplay was a heavy saving point in comparison to the engine. By Halo 2 the engine was pretty solid, even the level design had taken a massive step up.
I developed a severe hated for the brutes, which was fine considering I spent most of the game blowing them up. I also despise the flood- they're a brilliant enemy concept that steadily builds up a sufficient level of hatred. I found that by their appearance in the second game I was enraged by their very presence. I also found I was more efficient at killing them, even going so far as to cut up the dead bodies to avoid them getting back up.
All in all I think I enjoyed Halo 2 far more than Halo 1, a solid engine more than makes up for the slimmer amount of story in the second game, especially the better vehicle control.
